Session 1 July 25th: 7-9pm EST

 

The Early Learner Curriculum and Achievement Record

Objective 1:  By the conclusion of the session participants will be familiar with changes to the screening procedures and measures in the ELCAR.  These updates will be reviewed and corresponding changes in the ELCAR record book will be highlighted.

 

Objective 2:  By the conclusion of the session participants will be familiar with changes to some early protocols related to foundational observing responses.  Preliminary data will be presented that incorporate changes in measurement and graphing, in addition to fading procedures for some protocols.  

 

Objective 3:  By the conclusion of the session participants will be familiar with changes to the Achievement Record Book, particularly the Community of Reinforcers section, which has been expanded, and the Academic Literacy section.

Session 2, August 1: 7-9pm EST

 

The CABAS® Decision Protocol Updates

Objective 1:  By the conclusion of the session participants will be familiar with changes in the ELCAR manual regarding the decision protocol strategic analysis, including the new curriculum analysis, and supervisor script.

 

Objective 2:  By the conclusion of the session participants will learn how to implement the decision protocol and how to make higher-level decisions using a strategic analysis algorithm. 

 

Objective 3:  By the conclusion of the session participants will be familiar with how to record and graph decisions involving strategic analyses.

CEUs:  4 This event qualifies for Learning CEUs and CABAS CEUs.
